Progress on the mixed truncation

Abstract

An important object of the relative Langlands program is the integral representation of special values of automorphic Lfunctions. However, we are often faced with divergent integrals in this study where the mixed truncation is needed. In this talk, we plan to introduce the relevant background and recent progress particularly including Zydor’s work. In the end, we shall mention some potential applications of his work including our ongoing work on certain relative trace formulae.
