Abstract

In recent years, various forms of uncertainty principles have played unexpectedly important roles in many core areas of mathematics. This talk will introduce some new uncertainty principles, such as Heisenberg uniqueness pairs, sign uncertainty principles, and their applications in PDEs and sphere packing problems.
