I am an assistant professor at SUStech, Department of Mathematics.

I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from U Houston under the supervision of  Prof. Andrew Török

I was a Hale visiting assistant professor at Georgia Tech, School of Mathematics, working under Prof. Leonid Bunimovich

and was a research fellow of Prof. Carlangelo Liverani at Rome Tor Vergata, Department of Mathematics

My research focuses on Dynamical systems, ergodic theory, probability theory.  More precisely, open dynamical systems, hyperbolic dynamical systems, ergodic theory, probabilistic limit theorems of dynamical systems, and their applications to physics, neural networks.

My main interest is addressing various problems for statistical properties of chaotic billiards, a good reference for Sinai billiards is  Gaz de Lorentz et billard de Sinai

I am currently involved in the applied dynamics group hosted by Prof Hongkun Zhang . Many phenomena in the real world can be regarded as the evolutions of dynamical systems. We use ML to discover new structures in complex systems (e.g.  neural networks), etc.

If you want to pursue your PhD in our applied dynamics group, do not hesitate to email me.
